New Delhi: Crude oil futures
on Thursday fell by 0.07 per cent to Rs 2,932 per barrel
as participants reduced their positions on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for October delivery eased by Rs 2, or 0.07 per cent, to Rs 2,932 per barrel with a business volume of 2,824 lots.
Crude oil for November delivery was quoting lower by similar margins at Rs 2,973 per barrel with an open interest of 118 lots.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude were trading lower by 0.87 per cent at USD 39.87 and USD 41.93 per barrel, respectively, in New York.
